DA MOUTH!

Ehehe~
I saw this band's music video and immedietly fell in love with their music <3
So I went out today and while buying lunch, I bought their latest album as well...!
I actually wanted to get the other two albums they released before, but I thought I should buy them on different days so I will have motivation to leave the apartment later ^^;

Da Mouth is a Taiwanese group,consisting of 4 members. The funny thing is, none of them are really FULLY Taiwanese. The female vocalist is Japanese, the male vocalist is a Taiwanese-Korean-American, the rapper is Canadian-Taiwanese (I think he IS full Taiwanese, but lived in Canada for a while), and the DJ is also Japanese (lived in Taiwan though).
I love their style. It's so fun and different. Some of their videos remind me of Lady Gaga XD
Seems like they are excellent dancers too.

One of the music video featuring one of the songs in their new album:

Kind of random... but here is what I drank beside lunch!
Some healthy tea-like drink. It's not very tasty OTL

Night Market

Lol I keep on posting these AFTER one day after the event.
I'm always too tired at night to post.

Anyways, last night, I went to a night market. It was quite fun!
(The pic below is not me by the way, just some random person).

It was one that was just 15 mins of walk away from the apartment.
There are so many different shops there, plus lots of cute clothes. Unfortunately all of the clothes there are "free size" or "one size" only, so I cannot wear them :(

There was this stand that sold little hamster-like things <333
They are absolutely adorable...! I wanted one so bad, but obviously I cannot take care of them once I leave Taiwan in 4 months.
But they were incredibly cute to look at.

I got 1 legging and 1 pair of knee socks from this stand.

This man was selling some super absorbent towels and mats.

Sun glasses! $200 Taiwanese is around $6 dollars Canadian.

BBQ stand and a smoothie stand.

Chicken feets :D
Very tasty!

Well that was yesterday. I don't think anything special is going to happen today, since I am stuck at home with nothing but computer and tv XD;

First day...er, second day?

The plane ride was very bad. I think I might be getting old to ride on planes or something =_=;
All the past plane rides I had before weren't as uncomfortable as this one.

First I had took the plane to Vancouver. There we (my mom was with me too) waited 5 hours for the plane that we needed to take to Taiwan to get there. IT WAS TERRIBLE.
My mom slept, but I didn't, thinking I should just sleep on the plane.
So I wondered around the airport for the 5 hours...and realized that all the stores there bascially sell the same things. It was so boring.

When the plane arrived, I thought the pain would be over. But it only got worse.
The plane seats are very badly designed. When I try to lean back, there is this little pillow-like thing that supports my head. However, with that bieng there I found it difficult to get comfortable as the pillow thing makes my head go in this angle that it HURTS my neck OTL
I barely slept on the 12 hour ride, and when I did, it would only last about 15-20 mins, then I will wake up feeling like throwing up.

When we finally arrived to Taiwan, we figured out that my mom's car is out of power so we couldn't start up the car.
We were stuck in one place for an hour before security guard came along and helped us out.

It was a long day ;n;

But that was not the end of my day since my mom was determined to keep me awake so I can correct the jet lag faster. Even so, I felt a lot better on the ground. I no longer felt sick and could eat real food.

I went to a small cozy Japanese restaurant:

Salt-Grilled Squid... It was quite good with wasabi.

I didn't pay attention what kind of fish this was XD;
But it was really good too. I had a hard time fully enjoying because there were several bones in there that almost jabbed me in the mouth...

Salmon sashimi! I wanted tuna instead, but I didn't know how to say tuna in chinese...

Some fried tofu <33

Well, that was all yesterday. I was way to tired at the end to write this up OTL
I also went to a Shabu-Shabu hot pot place for dinner, but didn't take any pictures because I was too into eating and forgot...

Oh, and here is just a picture through my mom's apartment window:

It's 6 am right now so it's still dark.

Ready...!

All packed...
Mostly my stuff, some is my mom's.

And as usual, Eddy is rummaging within box-like things. He just wouldn't give up until he digs everything out and mess up the whole suit case.

Sigh... I'll miss him so much!

Preparing...

Internet was being a pain for a while...
But other than that, my work is almost done. Just two days of work left then I will be gone from that dreaded place >3> (stupid manager. hate him so much).

Going back to Taiwan! I'm gonna be kind of busy...
My mom even suggested me working part time there, lol. I don't think it's such a good idea because:

1. My chinese sucks.
2. They are more strict there.
3. They get paid only $3/hr o_o;

But I think I will be going to some computer graphics classes. Which would be quite fun.

Another news is that I joined a production of a online game! I'm an artist for them (of course, I can't do anything else OTL). However I'm pondering if my style is what the directer is looking for... Well, if it doesn't work out, it's fine too.

I saw this super cute site layout/template on this Japanese graphics site <3 I really want to use it but I don't know what their policy is >.<; *wishes I knew Japanese*
Though I think it is basically the same as every other site template makers... hmm.

OHH YEAH.
I made a new DA account @ M0CHA (the O is an zero XD)or just click--> M0CHA
I don't think I will be using it anytime soon though.

Taiwan is gonna be so much fun <33
I will share my days on this blog... :)
